Procedures before the Property Registry

  • Request for simple notes and property location.
  • Request for negative notes of properties.

Procedures before the Settlement Office

  • Preparation of tax forms (for example, model 600) depending on the type of procedure: Transfer Tax, Inheritance Allocations, Change of Creditors.
  • Submission of the corresponding form to the Tax Agency or directly to the Settlement Office.

Traffic Procedures

  • Obtaining vehicle reports.
  • Handling fine appeals.
  • Vehicle importation (changing foreign license plates to Spanish ones).

Procedures

at Town Halls

Town Halls located within Spanish territory offer various services to citizens, and even though some are common, they may still require different documents or procedures.

In general, we can assist you in the application and processing of:

Tax certificates and reports

  • Report on outstanding debts.
  • Negative certificate (confirming that all taxes related to the town hall and the Collection Board have been paid up to the date of the request, including IBI, waste collection, IVTM).
  • Only payments made in the last 5 years are included.
  • Certificates of tax benefits applied to subsidized housing (VPO)

  • Documents required in the disqualification files of subsidized housing.
  • Debt inquiries

  • Depending on the amount and the period elapsed, you can request payment of the debt in installments or, if applicable and timely, present the corresponding claims or appeals.
  • Consultation and certification of cadastral data and documents

  • Submission of letters in case of duplicate receipts (for housing and land).
  • Consultation in cases of disagreement with land boundaries.
  • Management of ownership transfers.
  • Civil union registration

  • Registration of any couple with habitual residence and joint registration in the corresponding municipality.
  • Marriages

  • Upon request, a councilor or mayor can perform the ceremony at municipal facilities or at a requested location, if desired.
  • Inspections

  • Tax complaint/request for inspection: Informing the administration about actions that may constitute tax violations.
  • The identity of the complainant is confidential and will not be revealed to the accused.
